Relaxed, warm & happy - fender

1    She wrote me a note

          Its hung on the door

          "Food’s in the fridge

          Sox in the drawer"

          A cat in a kennel

          A burst balloon

          I was as useless

          As a plastic spoon

          All of my troubles

          All of my pains

          They seemed

Like they were here to stay

          I planted a seed

In the spring time it grew

Don’t you know, for a flower to grow

          Roses Need Rain

    2     A man without reason

          A man without rhyme

I’m was just sittin’ here countin’

          Nickels and dimes

          What do I do?

          Where do I go?

          What do I say?

          Now she’s away?

          All of my troubles

          All of my pains

          They seemed

Like they were here to stay

          I had planted a seed

In the spring time it grew

Don’t you know, for a flower to grow

          Roses Need Rain

Br.   Then just like a bolt

          From out of the blue

          She pulled in the drive

          And my troubles were through

          All of my troubles

          All of my pains

          They seemed

Like they were here to stay

But I had planted a seed

And in the spring time it grew

Don’t you know, for a flower to grow

          Roses Need Rain

          I had planted a seed

In the spring time it grew

Don’t you know, for a flower to grow
