Close to 3% of people world-wide take illegal drugs. But if you don’t count the 2% that

take marijuana, since 2021 less than 1% of us take drugs. Some radio stations will tell

you that it’s not like it here though. But the reality is that their profits have gone down

a lot. Where I live in Australia the main radio network, Triple M, has had a very bad time.

Their profit went down 77% in 2023-24. The next year profit went up only 5%. And the

year after Triple M network was bought by a TV network, but the TV network’s own profit

fell 28% in that year also.

Note: Marijuana is legal in about half of United States now. That’s why I didn’t count

marijuana as an illegal drug.
