Kool

Did you hear about cigarettes called Kool? The Australian Government

told us about them in the 1960’s. The government stopped the Kool ads

because they were lies. They told us that cigarettes made us cool because

they were bad for us. They killed people. Cigarettes, they told us, were bad

for you. Not hip or cool. Our mates who smoked cigarettes were dying from

cigarettes. How was it cool to smoke cigarettes?

The real story of drugs is similar. The TV and radio tell us that taking illegal

drugs is cool or hip. But they don’t tell you the truth about drugs.

Illegal drugs are Kool. And that doesn’t mean they are cool.

Not everybody takes drugs…  Since 2021 less than 1% of us take drugs.
